Kenya Safari
Kenya : The land of diversity, Tropical beaches, Big 5, and the Wildebeest Migration.
Consider travelling across wide grasslands filled with thousands of enormous game creatures that appear mirage-like in the hot afternoon light. To be a part of a scene where wide grasslands hide the presence of golden maned lions lounging in the shade of flat-topped acacia trees. To see elephants strolling peacefully in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped top, and to trek into the African wilderness with spear-carrying Maasai or Samburu guides. And, at sunrise, gliding over the Mara River and its surrounding riverine forest in a hot-air balloon. Kenya is all of these and more. Habari!

African Safari Kenya Travel Guide
The Swahili word safari, which means “journey,” conjures up pictures of intrepid visitors dressed in khakis traveling from Nairobi’s lush hills into pristine, virtually undisturbed wild areas. It is undeniably true that the allure of an old-world safari experience stems from Kenya. Legendary figures such as Denys Finch Hatton and Karen Blixen have perpetuated the drama of Africa by flying over bright savannah grasslands teeming with exotic animals, deep-green gorges fissuring the Great Rift Valley, and sparkling lakes tinged pink by millions of flamingos. This is still true to a significant extent. Add to that lovely resorts, beautiful meals, and a great network of regular flights, and you have the ideal environment for a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
The yearly Great Migration, which begins in neighboring Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, consists of 1.3 million wildebeest and 400,000 zebra surging over the terrain on their way to richer pastures in the Maasai Mara. Colorful tribes such as the Maasai, Samburu, Turkana, Borana, Rendile, and others showcase the country’s rich cultural costumes and radically contrasting landscapes ranging from moorlands to deserts, coastal shorelines to intricate and enticing woodlands.
