Day 1
Entebbe – Kampala
Once you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will be there to greet you and then transport you to your respective Uganda Safari Lodges for the night.

Day 2
Kampala – Jinja
Following a breakfast, we will drive you to Jinja Safari in Uganda, where you will go on a walk along the River Nile to see the source of the Nile River and National parks in Uganda. Following that, we will go on a community safari to interact with the Ugandan people in nearby villages. Additionally, you can participate in optional activities like white water rafting, kayaking, quad biking, and horse riding, but please let us know in advance so that we can make a reservation for you, especially during peak season.

Day 3
Jinja – Sipi Falls
Following that, we travel to Sipi Falls, where we can observe Mount Elgon’s (4321) crater landscape. Embark on a scenic hike to the three largest waterfalls in Uganda (100 meters). This National parks in Uganda is well-known for its breathtaking landscapes and charming villages.

Day 4
Sipi Falls – Lira
After an early breakfast, we will depart for a safari in Uganda Lira, where we will stop at the Nyero Rock Paintings, which date back to the Iron Age. Lira is a pleasant town with numerous markets, cafes, and other attractions. We make a few pit stops along the way to meet some of the people from Uganda.

Day 5
Lira – Murchison Falls National Park
Today, we begin our journey to the safari in Uganda, stopping first at Murchison Falls National Park, our first safari Uganda destination, before continuing on to Karuma Falls, which is located along the River Nile. We embark on our first Uganda Safari adventure in the late afternoon, along with a visit to chimpanzees (safari).
The Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s most beautiful parks, home to some of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls. In addition to the Nile, which features the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the entire river is forced through a narrow gorge and plummets 60 meters, one of the most popular attractions is Victoria Falls. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and possibly leopards while on your safari adventure like National parks in Uganda.

Day 6
Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning, you will embark on a Uganda Safari Vacation game drive, followed by an afternoon Safari Uganda boat ride on the Victoria Nile, which will take you all the way to the base of the Victoria Falls.

Day 7
Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning boat trip on the Nile to the Delta, followed by an afternoon Uganda safari vacations game drive, are highlights of this Uganda safari vacations experience. The National parks in Uganda contains the highest concentration of wildlife in Murchison Falls, and the boat provides an excellent platform from which to observe it. Additionally, this is the location where the elusive Shoebill Stork can be found.

Day 8
Murchison Falls National Park – Hoima
We will go on a game drive early in the morning and then visit the top of the falls afterward. In the late afternoon, we will drive to Hoima Town, where it is also possible to visit Budongo Forest, where we can go for a jungle walk and see monkeys and birds, as well as other wildlife (optional).

Day 9
Hoima – Kibale Forest
After an early morning game drive in Uganda Safari Park, you will travel to the top of the falls of National parks in Uganda, where you will spend the remainder of the day. Towards the end of the afternoon, we will drive to Hoima Town, where it is possible to visit Budongo Forest, where we can take a jungle walk and see monkeys and other wildlife (optional).

Day 10
Kibale Forest
Later in the day or early in the morning, you will go on a chimpanzee tracking expedition. Although this 1-hour tracking can be upgraded to a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, which is a full day of tracking, this is not recommended.
We can also organize a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for those who are interested in primates and birds and are willing to put in the effort to go on another walk. Additionally, it is possible to visit the locals or to see the crater lakes of National parks in Uganda.

Day 11
Kibale Forest – Semuliki National Park
After visiting one of the crater lakes, you will be transferred to Semuliki National Park, where you can see Sempaya Hot Springs. A truly unique location, Semuliki is also the only lowland jungle in East Africa, and it is a part of the Congo ecosystem.

Day 12
Semuliki National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival at Safari Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will be taken on a game drive through the park, stopping to photograph the Uganda Equator before continuing to the afternoon game drive.
A visit to Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most rewarding experiences because it offers the opportunity to see various wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and leopards.

Day 13
Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning game drive in Uganda will be included, as will an afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. It is also possible to participate in a Lion Tracking Experience while on your safari in Uganda.
In Uganda, Kazinga Channel is one of the most popular tourist destinations, and it is home to the world’s highest concentration of hippos.

Day 14
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha
You will go on a game drive in the park in the early morning hours, with the option of going chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. A game drive through Safari Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Ishasha sector in the south, in search of tree-climbing lions, will be conducted later in the afternoon.
Ishasha is home to four lion pride, each of which climbs the trees. The Topis, which are unique to Ishasha National Park and cannot be found anywhere else in the world, is the other major attraction of the park.

You will be transferred to Lake Mutanda, which is considered one of Uganda’s most beautiful destinations. During clear weather, the three volcanoes can be seen in the distance. In addition to relaxing at the lodge, you may participate in the following activities (one activity is included): a boat trip on Lake Victoria, a walk along the lake or to the local Ugandans, a swim, or a visit to the pygmies.

Day 18
Lake Mutanda and Mgahinga National Park – Lake Bunyonyi
You will then travel to Magahinga National Park, where you will participate in one of the activities available there, or you will stay near the lake and participate in one of the activities available there. Today’s schedule includes one activity. A nature walk, a birding or primate walk, visiting the golden monkeys, or climbing one of the volcanoes are all options for visitors to Mgahinga National Park’s activities list. Your next destination is Lake Bunyonyi, where you will spend the night on the shores of Uganda’s most beautiful lake.
As part of the Virunga Volcanoes and bordering Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, Mgahinga National Park is a protected area in the Virunga Volcanoes. Aside from Mountain Gorillas, the golden monkeys of Mgahinga National Park, a subspecies of the Blue Monkey, are the main attractions in the park.

Lake Bunyonyi
If you want to do something different, you can go for a nature walk, go bird watching, go canoeing, go swimming, or visit the Ugandan community. You will have a full day on Lake Bunyonyi to do whatever you want. There is only one activity included.

Day 20
Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, make your way to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will go on a game drive with Uganda Safari Vacations in the afternoon. In addition, a boat trip on Lake Victoria is available through Safari Uganda. If you want to see leopards, you can go on a Night Safari in Uganda, which is a game drive with a high chance of success.
Lake Mburo National Park is one of only two national parks in Uganda that has zebras, and it is also one of the only Uganda Safari parks that has impalas. Walking safaris are possible because there are no elephants and only one male lion in the area.

Uganda is rich in natural and cultural resources. However, many of its citizens live in abject poverty, with electricity and running water still in short supply in many parts of the country. The promotion of responsible tourism in Uganda is one method of reaching the country's largely rural population and assisting them in conserving their lands and the wildlife that coexists with them. Gorillas, like everyone else, require our assistance - whether it's to protect them from something as minor as a common cold or something as monumental as oil drilling.
Being in Uganda can feel like such a privilege at times... It's difficult not to feel overwhelmed when you're surrounded by spectacular volcanic landscapes, wildlife that many of us grew up dreaming of seeing with our own eyes, and some of the continent's most friendly, welcoming people who make you feel like a VIP wherever you go. Uganda does everything in its power to accommodate visitors, and as visitors, we owe it to ourselves to try to reciprocate this generosity in some way.
Even though the country is extraordinarily rich in terms of biodiversity and culture, it remains economically impoverished. In Uganda, more than 80 percent of the population lives in rural areas, with the vast majority of them employed as subsistence farmers. Throughout the years, the country has been battered by military coups, murderous dictators, HIV epidemics, and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a guerilla army led by Joseph Kony that waged a nearly two-decade-long insurgency in the country's northern regions. However, even though these events are no longer taking place, their consequences continue to be felt in poverty rates, illiteracy, lack of access to education, inadequate infrastructure, and orphaned children. Even though Uganda appears to fit the "poor but happy" narrative that so many travelers adore, complete with beaming faces, energetic dances, and excitable children, it's worth doing some research on the country's history, speaking with your tour guide, and learning more about the realities of daily Ugandan life before being sucked in quite so quickly by those winning smiles.
