The story of your African Safaris Tours!
Day 1
Fly to Selous game reserve
After you arrive in Dar es Salaam, a guide will meet you and drive you to the Selous game reserve. There are no roads in this massive game reserve and it is truly a safari experience unlike any other. After landing at the airstrip, you will be picked up by Selous River Camp’s driver/guide for the trip to your accommodations. In Africa, you can also take a boat safari down the River Rufiji where you can see lots of wildlife, like crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and water birds. The Selous Game Reserve safari is the lifeline of the game reserve, so it is particularly fascinating to see it from a boat safari.
